Creekbed is a magic-folk project beaming out from Denver, CO. They conjure songs about
shedding city-anxieties like snakeskin in favor of rolling with coyotes in the dust of twilight,
sketching new constellations and weaving strange harmonies in the cedarsmoke dark.
Creekbed formed as a collaboration between Rachel Gramig and Jesse Wooten, who left
Asheville and Chapel Hill and somehow found themselves and their song in the shadow of
the Colorado front range. Rachel and Jesse are joined by Jim Mattox, whose guitar and
banjo strings keep the far-flung kite of Creekbed’s harmonies anchored to the earth.
